REGINALD K. LISEMBY

Reginald K. Lisemby began his appointment as the Executive Director of Christian Ministry to Israel in November 1998 after completing his Judaic studies in Chicago and his internship in Nazareth Illit, Israel. A graduate of Moody Bible Institute's Jewish and Modern Israel Studies program Rev. Lisemby is a licensed and ordained minister, and an evangelist having served in the field of evangelism for thirty-five years. Director Lisemby has made numerous trips to the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, participating in cross-cultural mission work to the Jews first, then the Arab, Korean, Ukrainian, Russian, Kenyan, Ugandan, English, and Native American peoples.

Rev. Lisemby has an earned Master's degree from Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga and received an honorary Doctorate for study and work in his field. He continues his studies in Old Testament and Hebrew and is the radio rabbi of Hear O' Israel a radio broadcast of Christian Ministry to Israel heard on Moody Bible Institute radio.

Reggie is married to Crystal Faith McNeely Lisemby of Jonesville, Louisiana. Reggie and Crystal have three children: Jacob, Faith, and Judah Christian. The Lisembys are home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Christian Ministry to Israel is an independent faith operated mission board celebrating its 68th year (1944-2012) of affectionately proclaiming Yeshua (the Jewish way to say Jesus) to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile according to Romans 1:16. CMI is represented by eight families in Israel, twelve families in Ukraine, two families in the US, and with their office in Chattanooga, TN. Christian Ministry to Israel performs various strategies of ministry: distribution of bibles, books, videos, CDs, and literature in Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, and English; leadership in Hebrew-Christian congregations; music ministry; deaf ministry; youth ministry; Shabbat school; language interpretation; discipleship; drama; training and leading tour groups to Israel; ministry to the Druz of Israel; student ministry; reconciliation/sports ministry with Arab and Jews; hospitality ministry; counseling; presentations of Passover Seders; publications; and administration. MMI also supports humanitarian assistance to soup kitchens in Ukraine.

Christian Ministry to Israel offers a free monthly newsletter, The Star Hope with monthly reports of missionaries, and articles concerning issues of Israel and the Middle East.

STATEMENT OF FAITH: I believe that salvation rests upon the finished work of Messiah Yeshua on the tree and man's personal faith in His life, death, burial, and resurrection. Yeshua, the Son of God, and the Messiah of Israel, died for my sins, and the sins of the whole world, and He resurrected according to the Holy Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-11; Ephesians 2:8,9)
